Senior electives are offered for one-month or two-week duration during the period of August through January. The goals and objectives of this elective are to provide students an exposure to family medicine as an outpatient and/or inpatient practice. Students will have a chance to interact with the residents and faculty. This rotation can be tailored to the interests of the student with approval by the program director. Students will be actively involved in diagnosis and management of diseases and various procedures (outpatient and/or inpatient). Students will also have the option to attend daily morning report and will be part of Wednesday afternoon didactics.
