St. Joseph Hospital appeared on the first list of intern training programs approved by the American Medical Association more than 65 years ago. The Hospital's commitment to medical education produced many of Houston's top physicians and has kept St. Joseph at the forefront of breakthroughs in medicine.  Medical education plays a crucial role in the fulfillment of the mission of care of the CHRISTUS Health System.
